A chat show host and a famous RJ with Fever FM, RJ Stutee often has to come home late due to work commitments. But never had she imagined that her late working hours will pose a threat to her security and lead to character assassination.

On July 11, while returning back home located in a posh GK area, she was stopped by her colony’s security guard. She alleged that she was harassed by him and RWA president Mickey Bedi and his wife as she was returning back late.

She claimed that on reaching late, Mrs Bedi shouted and told the guard not to open the colony gate for her. Her husband Micky Bedi too questioned her character asking why should a lady come late and how do they know where she was.

Stutee’s mother in the complaint stated that her daughter who is a media professional and a single woman often has to come home late from work. Also, she drives alone.

She added that the harassment has been going on for a long time and complaints have been repeatedly filed by them.

Her mother stated that on July 11 when she returned back home, the guard stationed at the gate did not let her in. She said this is a huge security concern and she is worried for her daughter.

The RJ also tweeted pictures in support of the formal complaint her mother had filed at GK 1 police station .

RJ Stutee also tweeted copies of the police complaints filed against Mr Bedi, the RWA President of her lane. She said Mr Bedi has a history of violent behaviour.

She has also attached photos of her colony news letter Samvaad which gives details about how Bedi elected himself as the president.

She has tweeted and re-tweeted her grievance to the Delhi Police and social activist Meenakashi Lekhi.

Amrita Bhinder, a lawyer and friend has also come out in support of her. She posted a video of the incident on Twitter and stated that a woman coming late due to late office hours and not allowed entry from gate closest to her house jeopardises her security.
