Indore: Voting time up by one hour

Owing to intense heat, the polling hours for Lok Sabha election has been increased by one hour.  Collector and district election officer Lokesh Kumar Jatav said following the instructions of Election Commission, the polling time has been increased by one hour. The polling will be held from 7 am to 6 pm. Till now, they were conducted from 7 am to 5 pm. Jatav said even after 6 pm, there will be queue of voters. The presiding officer will offer them the slip. Those who will enter polling station by 6 pm will be allowed to cast their vote.

CEO Kanta Rao to hold meet today
Chief Electoral Officer VL Kanta Rao will hold meeting with district election officers and senior officials of Indore and Ujjain division at commissioner’s office on Wednesday morning.
